Sewing Stevie!

After sharing some of my favourite fabrics and patterns with you last week, I couldn’t wait to get started on the Tilly and the Buttons Stevie.

I found this compass patterned dressmaking cotton in our fabric stash and thought it was the perfect contrasting fabric to go with our dressmaking cotton chambray.

The Stevie tunic dress is a great pattern for a beginner – grown on sleeves, no darts, zip or curved seams! You can make Stevie your own as the pattern comes with the option of making it as a dress or top and with a hand tie or button option. This pattern is so versatile I am already looking forward to choosing some fabric for my next Stevie!

No sooner had I finished the Stevie tunic, Fliss was wearing it in the garden with Louis.

Better get sewing my next one… for myself!!

Happy sewing! C xx
